The meeting was chaired by Tyrone Jack, and discussions ensued as to the reasons for the large debt incurred to date. The motion to remove the two officials was unanimously carried. The meeting was then adjourned and a special meeting was then called to order to elect officials to fill the vacant positions.

The positions were filled by Anthony McKenzie as President, and Kim Gun-Munro as Treasurer, with Lorna Edwards confirmed in the position of Vice President.

According to a release from the SVGTA, the Executive intends to go forward to stabilise the financial position, and seek to make arrangements to repay the debt. Efforts would also be made to revive the support of the many sponsors and to organize the tournament calendar, which had lapsed.
