Last Sunday, June 1st, at Marine Park, Cavaliers recorded their second win from two games. Stars, too, was in winner’s row. Stars defeated Carriacou by one wicket in a close finish. This win followed their lost from their first game.

Former St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Windwards batsman Albert Teshiera scored 42. Another former national player, and who still turns out for Eat Rite Saints in the RBTT Premier Division here, Ted Roberts, made 29 and Lester Benn struck 27 not out. They were the main contributors with the bat.

Replying, Panthers made 203 for 9. Shazad Uthat topped scored with 75.

Dominic Audain, 3 for 35, Ephrain Bacchus, 3 for 41, Ezekiel ‘Sports’ Williams, 1 for 15, Sherwin Bazil, 1 for 23, and Mark Audain, 1 for 43, ensured Cavaliers triumph.

Imperial is yet to play a game, but is set to meet Punjab this Sunday June 8th, while Cavaliers faces Diplomats. (RT)
