This will be at a one day symposium which will be convened at the President’s Box at the Arnos Vale Playing Field, from 9am.

The symposium will address the topic “Building relationships among the Sporting Disciplines, the National Sports Council, the National Lotteries Authority and the Division of Sports”.

Minister Browne, who re-assumed the portfolio of Sports last month, has said that the symposium will clear the air in terms of issues that are affecting the sporting community in the state.

Minister Browne added that the discussion will guide his Ministry and the National Sports Council in the formulation of progressive policies to guide the development of sports in the future.

Over 25 national sporting bodies, area associations and other relevant stakeholders have been invited to attend this meeting.

There will be presentations from the Minister of Sports, the National Sports Council, the National Lotteries Authority, the Division of Sports, and Sports Administrator Cecil McKie.
