Blue house wins KMPS annual sports meet

The red line that signaled finish was of little importance to the tiny tots of the Kingstown Methodist Pre-School who frolicked in the sweltering sun as they held their Annual Sports meet at the Kingstown Baptist Church grounds.{{more}}

Amid the valiant effort made by the future sprinters of the other houses, Blue House was able to emerge as champions, edging out their three other rivals with a total of 180 points.

It was a close call for Red House who came in second with 175 points. Green House came in third with 140 points, and yellow had to settle for the fourth spot with 105 points.

In the two-three year old category for boys, Tyrique Garraway of blue house reigned victorious, and Cristina Stewart of red house was the champ for the girls. In the four year-old categories, Xavique Wyllie did the magic for Green House, while Matara Myers of Red house was the girl champ.

Parents turned out in their numbers to give the teachers full support, but moreso to cheer on their young ones.
