Isaacs’ House wins Union Island Secondary 35th Annual Sports meet

The Union Island Secondary School held its 35th Annual Sports meet at the Clifton Playing Field on Thursday February 21st, 2008.{{more}}

In first position was Isaacs’ House with 424 points. They dethroned last year’s winner Williams’ House who had to be content with the third position amassing 341 points. In second Position was Peters’ House. They totaled 369 points. The Victor Lodurum was Nemiah Alexander of Peters’ House and Victrex Lodurum Zonysha Wilson of Williams’ House.

The female junior champ was Khadija Williams of Isaac’s house, she tallied 17 points.

Junior male champ Nemiah Alexander of Peters’ House with 19 points.

The Intermediate female champ was Afisha Alexander of Peters House with 17 points and male intermediate champ Jayvaughn Stowe who totaled 15 points. He represented Isaacs’s House.

Senior female champ was Zonysha Wilson of Williams’ house with 21 points. There was a tie for the male senior champ between Elton Joseph and Varin Froget with 12 points, both of Peters House.

The ceremony was attended by Parliamentary Representative Terrence Ollivierre who addressed the meet.
