Digicel donates to School for Children with Special Needs

Local telecommunications company Digicel, has made a financial contribution to the School for Children with Special Needs.

The donation would assist with the school’s sporting activities and the purchase of school T-shirts which would be used in their upcoming Sports meet on March 29 at the Victoria Park.{{more}}

Principal of the School, Fred Stay expressed gratitude to DIGICEL and said that the school’s motto of “Teachable, Trainable, Educable and Lovable” would be printed on the garments which would be in different sizes and colours.

Marketing Manager of Digicel St. Vincent, Juno DeRoche expressed that Digicel is always honored to assist the School for Children with Special Needs in whatever way they can. She went on the say that disability is not inability and she is proud of what the principal and teachers of the school are doing for the children, and took the time to commend them for their patience and a job well done. She ended by encouraging them to keep the good job up.
