Ballantyne places 11th at NACAC

Despite very cold weather, distance-running ace, Pamenos Ballantyne, ably and proudly represented St Vincent and the Grenadines at the 3rd Annual NACAC Cross Country Championships in Clermont, Florida, on Saturday 3 March 2007.

Ballantyne finished a credible 11th in a field of 42 athletes from the NACAC region. This was a field that included the USA’s team for the World Cross Country Championships and the two top Mexican and Guatemalan team members.

Ballantyne’s time for the 8K event was 26:03:00. He ran at an average of 5:14:5 per mile over the rugged course.

Canada won the overall team title, ahead of the USA at the One Day Cross Championships.
