Shawndy shows he is top class

Shawndy St. Hillaire in his Honda CRX outclassed nine other drivers to dominate the first event of the local Automobile Association’s calendar of events.

The dexterity event which was held in conjunction with RP Entertainment, took the drivers over two courses which tested their speed and skill.{{more}}

It took place last Saturday at the Diamond Dairy Estate, much to the excitement of the hundreds of fans who turned out to witness the event.

St. Hillaire in his red yellow and green Honda clocked the fastest time on the first course, in a time of one minute 3.94 seconds, and averaged the fastest time of 51.16 seconds on the second course.

The second fastest times of the evening were recorded by Steve Ollivierre in his Mitsubishi FTO, while Charlie Thomas in his Mitsubishi Colt placed third.

The event also saw veteran drivers like Ali Clouden, Colin Sardine, Art Huggins putting up some impressive times on the score card, with some other good performances by Jason Moussa, Glen Veira and John Riffen.

Racing fans who missed last Saturday’s event will get another chance to see those drivers and more in action on February 24th, when another dexterity challenge is scheduled to take place.
