North East football League kicks off

The NCB North East Football League kicked off last Sunday at with 15 teams teams from Fancy to Biabou participating in the march pass at the Georgetown playing field.

A friendly match was played between the NCB North East Football League and the Marriaqua League Team. The League is reminding fans that no bottles will be allowed on the playing field.

The opening ceremony began with a prayer by Mrs Caesar, and heard remarks from the President, Raymond Nickie, Trevor Huggins,1st Vice President of the SVG Football Federation, and Minister of Rural Transformation, Selmon Walters,

The vote of thanks was by the Public Relations Officer Marlon Tommy.
