Coaches return from Panama

Seven Vincentian coaches have been trained in a variety of techniques.

They recently returned from the 4th Annual ITF Central American and Caribbean Regional Coaches Conference in Panama where they learnt new techniques in coaching with emphasis on court psychological training for serve and return, fundamentals of wheelchair tennis, selection of talented players, the importance of intense on court work for competition player and working effectively with starter players.

The sessions were facilitated by some of the prominent presenters in the field of Biomechanics and ITF Tennis Development. The coaches called the conference beneficial and look forward to putting new techniques into practice here at home.
