Wickham said that the first fair will come off in Kingstown on July 14th. Thereafter there will be similiar events on July 21st and 28th

The LOC will recruit and train 400 volunteers, with 200 being deployed for services during the warm up leg of the CWC 2007.

Currently the LOC is making presentations to service clubs, tertiary institutions and community and youth groups in the state, about the volunteer programme and the application process.

The Volunteer programme will provide an important legacy for the country from the CWC 2007, since it will train a number of Vincentians in the areas of customer services and event management.
