Ollivierre duo heat up Bajan race trace

The dynamic duo of Steve and son Dominic Ollivierre with their ECMIl / Empire / SVG Ministry of Tourism sponsored Mitsubishi Evolution VII, captured the attention and hearts of both Barbadians and visitors alike, at the just concluded Barbados Rally Carnival event 2006.{{more}}

This event of 72 competitors, which ran from Saturday June 3 to Sunday, June 4, 2006, saw the team placing 1st in their group and 8th overall in the two-day Island Wide Rally, causing much excitement and amazement to both participants and spectators alike.

At the prize giving ceremony, the Ollivierres were awarded the 2nd highest place in the regional competitors Island Wide Rally, 1st in group and 4th overall at Valcluse Raceway.

This father/son team’s performance during the Rally certainly afforded St. Vincent and the Grenadines much recognition as one of the top Caribbean competitors in motor sports.
