SVG hoping for glory in OECS tennis

The title of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Tennis champion will be known this Sunday, when the 2005 Busta tournament concludes at the National Tennis Centre at Villa.

Five sub-regional countries: St. Lucia, Grenada, Dominica, the British Virgin Islands, Antigua and Barbuda and host St. Vincent and the Grenadines began their quest for glory yesterday, following an opening ceremony.{{more}}

The host is banking on the youthful skills of Kirk DaSilva and Corey Huggins, both honing their skills on the Florida Tennis circuit in North America.

The duo has the experience of Trevor Sam to form the perfect blend.

Lerissa Morris and Roxanne Williams are the two females carrying the torch of hope for St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
