Butler invited to WI trials

Deighton Butler has received an invitation from the West Indies Cricket Board to join 29 other players from across the region to make himself available for the forth coming tour of Australia.

This is an opportunity for the left arm seamer who hails from South Rivers to cement his place in the West Indies team. Butler grasped an opportunity to play for the West Indies recently with open arms when he played for a second string West Indies team in the Indian Oil Cup and performed creditably under the conditions.{{more}}

The letters of invitation to the players were accompanied by the draft/match tour contract that the players are required to sign if selected.
