T&T still in with slight chance

Guatemala, the only threat to the Caribbean sideâs progress rebounded with a 0-0 draw against the already assured USA. Mexico confirmed their Germany place with a 5-0 drubbing of Panama. Trinidad and Tobago plays Mexico at the Hasley Crawford Stadium October 12.
With the Mexicans not having a happy outing in recent times in this part of the globe, Trinidad and Tobago may well fancy their chances against the continental powerhouse.
The last time both met in Trinidad, the home team came away victors.
The man then responsible for the win was Russell Latapy. The Little Magician came out of international retirement for national cause. He made his impression in the Guatemala encounter, levelling the score.
Guatemalaâs opponents in their two remaining fixtures are Costa Rica and Mexico.
