Saskia Diamond shines

It seems like some Diamonds are forever. That’s certainly the case with Saskia Diamond. She received a Special Award at the last Windward Islands Inter-Secondary Schools Games.

The recognition was for her five straight years in that competition. She was one of the outstanding athletes at a closing ceremony last week Friday. {{more}}

Diamond was also her netball team’s Most Valuable Player.

Also on the awards list was Vincentian Kathleen James who shared the Victrix Ludorum title with Grenada’s Allison George.

Vincentian Daryl Gordon was the MVP in volleyball and football. Dameon Ottley was the Vincentian MVP for Basketball. Coaches Julian Small for football and Joan Foster-Baynes in netball also copped awards.
