West Indies, Sri Lanka, India in three-way clash

West Indies will be hoping for a change of fortunes in the One-Day Triangular Series. They play India

July 31 and August 7, and Sri Lanka August 2 and August 6.

The final is carded for August 9 at Premadasa, Colombo. {{more}}

The West Indies lost both Test matches, the first by six wickets and the second by 240 runs.

A West Indies ‘A’ Team also faltered on their Asian tour. They won the First four day match by 57 runs but saw reversed fortunes in the two following matches by an innings and 16 runs and four wickets.

West Indies won the Fourth One-Day by eight wickets, after a tie in the First encounter.

Sri Lanka won the other three games by five wickets in the Second, seven wickets in the Third, and 72 runs in the Fifth.

The Sri Lanka Tour was plagued by contract differences involving the senior players.
