Athletes descend on SVG

One hundred and twenty Windward Island athletes are here for the CBN Lottery Group Super Six Windward Island Games. The tournament begins tomorrow, Saturday, July 30.

They will compete in Netball, Football, Volleyball and Basketball. {{more}}

Football is at Grammar School Grounds Sunday July 31 when SVG plays Dominica. A St. Lucia/Grenada fixture will precede that. Tuesday August 2 it’s St. Vincent and the Grenadines and St. Lucia, while Dominica and Grenada meet. Friday SVG and Grenada meet while Dominica and St. Lucia clash.

Volleyball at the Lotteries Court, Murray’s Road Sunday evening, sees a SVG/Dominica clash, preceded by Grenada and St. Lucia.

Monday morning, SVG/ and Grenada play, while Dominica meets St. Lucia.

Monday evening’s programme takes the drama to New Montrose Hard Court for basketball. Dominica and St. Lucia will play the first game. SVG and Grenada play the other. Basketball continues Tuesday evening when Dominica and Grenada pave the way for a SVG/St. Lucia clash. Basketball winds up with Grenada and St. Lucia then SVG against Dominica.

Netball action sees the Vincentians

at the Kingstown Netball court against St. Luica on Tuesday afternoon, Dominica Thursday, and Grenada Friday morning.

A closing ceremony is slated for Friday evening. They will leave here on Saturday August 6.
