His one-man show helped MK Land crush Brunei 6-1.

Promoted to captain last season, James began his rout in the 33rd minute. He continued his blitz in the 48th, 59th, 69th, 79th and 80th.

This put his tally of goals for the season to 23.

The big win by MK Land, fortified their position among the top in Group A.

Second place team Kedah F.C, with another Vincentian Cornelius Huggins on its roster, edged out Melaka 1-0 to maintain a close watch on leaders Selangor.

Huggins returned to action last weekend after recovering from an appendectomy.

James and Huggins are the two Vincentians playing professional football in Malaysia.

Shandell Samuel parted company with Kedah on mutual agreement after completing four months of his intended one-year contract.

Samuel was unable to export his prolific goal-scoring form to the Asian continent.

From his eight matches,Samuel found that back of the net once. He was also out for a brief period with a foot injury.

James is into his third season and Huggins his second.
