Spurs sink Suns

The San Antonio Spurs reached the NBA finals with a 101-95 win over the Phoenix Suns in game five of the Western Conference finals on Wednesday.

St. Croix-born Tim Duncan was the main man for San Antonio once more – the center scored 31 points and grabbed 15 rebounds.{{more}}

Duncan was well supported by Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker, with 19 and 18 points respectively.

Amare Stoudemire had 42 points and 16 rebounds for the top-seeded Suns, who lost the series 4-1.
