Body builders get in shape

Local body builders have two weeks to tone up for the National BodyBuilding and Fitness Championship. That is carded for June 4 at Peace Memorial Hall in Kingstown. Athletes will vie for top spots in heavy weight, middleweight, light heavy, Novice, Female Open, Mixed Pairs, and Body Fitness. There will also be the School Boys Exhibition, a segment that arouses great excitement.{{more}}

Persons will also be looking to gain selection to the St. Vincent and the Grenadines team at the Eastern Caribbean Championship set for the Peace Memorial Hall July 29 to 31.

Antigua/Barbuda, Anguilla, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Lucia, St Martin, and St. Kitts/Nevis have confirmed participation for that pose off.

There will be further exposure for fitness fanatics when the Central American and Caribbean Championships comes off in Aruba, October 28 to November 3.
