Kenny Stapleton 46 was the man who threatened to upset Somerset’s progress. Ajuba Two thought they were in with a chance when the fourth and fifth wickets fell on 86. When the sixth went at 112, it was still an n open situation, but Maxwell Michael 18 and Kenneth Lewis 08, saw their team through.

It was the second victory for Somerset. They secured a 92 run win over Young Strugglers on Saturday, also at Petit Bordel.

Somerset piled up 311 for 8 from 32 overs. Kenneth Lewis 68 not out, Orlando Charles 64, Ashlin Bristol 50, and Gibbs Jones 49 made useful contributions. Leonzo Edwards 4 for 57 was the chief wicket taker for Young Strugglers.

They were dismissed for 219 in 31 overs. Edson Gordon 70 and Renaldo Samuel 63 put up fair resistance for Young Strugglers. Kenneth Lewis and Alain Williams each with 3 for 32 were the most successful bowlers for Somerset.
