Cyborg wins M6 Group
Vincentian Steve Ollivierre and his co-driver Dr. Perry DeFreitas raced away with 1st place in the M6 group at a one day car racing rally held in Barbados over the last weekend April 17.{{more}}
Driving Cyborg, an Empire /East Caribbean Metals Industries Ltd. sponsored Mitsubishi Mirage, the duo also placed 13th overall of 29 competitors.
Cyborg has been competing in Barbados since March. In the carâs earlier outings, driver Steve Ollivierre placed third in the M6 group at the Valcruse Raceway, and second in the Group 3A class at the Bushy Park raceway.
The Mitsubishi Mirage is gearing up for the Barbados Islandwide Rally scheduled for May 28 & 29. This event is anticipating 100 competitors.
