Mitres, Maple in netball clash

Mitres to clash with Maple Thursday in one of the most anticipated events in the Cable and Wireless National Netball Club competition, comes off next Thursday evening at the Kingstown Netball Centre.

Defending Division One champs Vita Malt Maple will meet Pine Hill Buddy Pak Mitres in a contest which could have a significant bearing on the title. {{more}}

Mitres, sporting six players who guided St. Vincent and the Grenadines to the AFNA title last February, will face their evergreen opponents.

Last year’s match between the two, was marred by a fracas which ended the encounter prematurely.

The other team which should pose a challenge to the two , is C and R Enterprises Sion Hill, who are the reigning OECS Club champions.
