Under 15 cricketers in training

Seventeen youngsters have been called up for possible selection to this country’s Under-15 cricket team.

They are: Wayne Harper, Romono Simmons, Devaine Warner, Michael Weekes, Hassan Edwards, Delaron Johnson, Lorenzo Edwards, Romono Warren, Elton Joseph, T-Shaka Patterson, Shelton Hooper, Ronjel Small, Elron Lewis, Kent Lewis, Keron Cottoy, Shendell Ballantyne, and Veneo DaSouza. {{more}}

Local Cricket Association President Lennox John named the party last Wednesday.

The Under 15 squad will defend their title in the Windward islands tournament scheduled for Trinidad and Tobago December 6 to 19.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines have notched up something of a reputation at the Under-15 level. They have won all but one of the championships since the tournament began ten years ago.

Samuel Holder will serve as manager for the party, but coach and captain have not yet been announced.
