This new format will see National Premiership and National First Division championships.

Nine (9) teams – Universal Mufflers Samba, Buccament Bay Warriors, NEMWIL Hope International, St. Vincent Motors System 3, Stingers, Rose Place, KFC Hotspurs, Prospect United and the National Under-20 – will vie for the top spot in the Premiership.

Eleven (11) are seeking to put their first lien on the coveted First Division title. They are Campdonia Chelsea, Texier Road, Police, BESCO Pastures, Sion Hill, Munich F. C., TRAC, Cowdrey Village, Ramerson Rocksdale, English Spurs and Parkside Rollers.

The opening is scheduled for 2 p.m. with a brief ceremony setting the competitive action into motion.

From 2:30, Campdonia Chelsea and Texier Road will feature in the First Division, followed by National League Champions, Universal Mufflers Samba, against Buccament Bay Warriors.

The League is expected to run into 2005, granted its structure and the availability of fields.

The contest allows for home and away matches in the Premiership, and a Round Robin in the First Division.

Besides, the Campden Park Playing Field, the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation, custodians of the League, have the use of Brighton, Arnos Vale II, Sion Hill, Buccament and Calliaqua Playing fields.

However, the Federation will have to give way to cricket from mid-January for these fields except Campden Park.
