The custom made scoreboard is complete with the Digicel and Association’s logos.
The scoreboard displays game time and score, team fouls, player fouls, bonus and possession of the ball. It was officially unveiled by Sabrina Mitchell, president and Junior Sutton, vice president and Digicel representative Juno DeRoche.
Saturday was also the launching of the official newsletter of the Association. To be published every quarter, the newsletter features stories on the development of basketball in Bequia and is geared towards basketball players, fans and businesses to
keep the community informed. In addition to topical stories about basketball in Bequia, every issue will profile a model basketball player, have a “rules corner” section about basketball rules and it will have a trivia section. The inaugural issue features point guard Keylon Edwards of the East Blazers basketball club.
