Peto Stars continue to shine in 20/20 tourney
Peto Stars continued their unbeaten run in the Vinlec North Leeward 20/20 Cricket Tournament. They beat Future Stars by 44 runs last Saturday at Petit Bordel. Guided by Sheldon Hooper 46 and Orland Hooper 28, Peto Stars were dismissed for 154 with two deliveries of the allotted 20 overs remaining.{{more}}
Brenton Providence 5 for 17 was the chief wicket taker for Future Stars. They however fell for 119 off 19 overs. Niklon Delpesche 20 was the only batsman with a score of merit. Ronique LaBorde 3 for 7 and Ronjel Small 3 for 30 combined to put paid to the Future Starâs effort.
Winterset 150 all out off 18 overs, also secured a victory. Christopher Trumpet 38 and Maxwell Edwards 35 were among the runs for Winterset. Osmond Shallow 3 for 9 and Angus Cyrus 3 for 18 had good figures for Rangers. Then Kesroy Debique 3 for 22 led the bowling attack as Coulls Hill Rangers fell for 119 off 18 overs. Devon Mars 23 was the leading run getter for Rangers.
