Enter InterPrime Air – Increased frequency, more efficiency

The company has stepped up to resolve the issue of inter-regional transportation from the Barbados operation which has seen “multiple percentage growth” to become SwiftPac’s largest Caribbean station. This location has become even more strategic with the creation of InterPrime Air as SwiftPac’s operating partner, to fill the existing void in inter-Caribbean cargo movement. This therefore provides a much-needed feeder service between the nations of the Caribbean for both import and export.

InterPrime Air intends to offer more frequent inter-Caribbean cargo service with air cargo delivery fed from the USA into the region and back, via the various Caribbean hubs.

SwiftPac InterPrime Cargo intends to work with all the major regional and international carriers currently operating at Caribbean airports, to provide more frequent and efficient service throughout this region.

The company is therefore working closely with farmers’ organizations and fisheries complexes and is open to working with the various ministries of Agriculture across the region. SwiftPac is particularly determined to improve links for producers between the nations of the Caribbean. Opportunities are being provided for small manufacturers in cottage industries, with cost-effective pricing mechanisms for intra-island freight. One ideally should see small producers of items such as handbags, soaps, jewelry, arts and crafts among others taking advantage of this opportunity to market and sell their products within the region.
