Ladies keep SVG flying high

When the 2005 World Travel Market opened on Sunday, November 14, this country had its largest delegation ever present at that event.

Director of Tourism Vida Bernard headed the Ministry’s delegation to the World’s largest Travel Event which was once again held in Excel London. {{more}} Bernard was joined by Marketing Manager Jill McIntyre, Chairman of the Carnival Development Corporation Dennis Ambrose and Director of the SVG Hotel and Tourism Association Janet Woods.

The local delegation was joined in London by this country’s London Office Sales Representatives Rachael Charles and Tonya Fraser as well as representatives from this country’s Public Relations Company for the United Kingdom, the Westminster Communications Group.

In addition to the Ministry’s delegation, several members of the local private sector attended the annual travel event. For a second year, the Ministry of Tourism and Culture took Panorama Champs Starlift Steel Orchestra to perform at the St. Vincent and the Grenadines booth as well as on the World Stage.
