Digicel sponsors Miss Heritage pageant

Digicel, the friendly telecommunications giant has once again stepped forward to support local culture.{{more}}
On Friday, October 17th at the Girlsâ High School (GHS), Marketing Executive Edmund Joachim handed over a sponsorship cheque to Principal Andrea Bowman.
The money was used to facilitate the 2008 Miss Heritage pageant which was held at the Aquatic Club on Thursday October 23rd.
On handing over the cheque, Joachim commented, âWe are proud to be part of the âMiss Heritageâ pageant as we are always glad to support cultural causes.
The âMiss Heritageâ Pageant is into its sixth year and this year featured eight contestants who carried the names of the different types of dance in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
