A people’s choice award gives you competitive advantage

A peopleâs choice award cannot be bought. It can only be earned by hard work and dedication to offering customers what they want at a consistently high standard. However, when producers and service providers put in the effort, the results can be far-reaching.
For winners of the Best of SVG peopleâs choice campaign 2017, the recognition gave them a competitive advantage in the local market and competitive advantage is what sets a business apart from its competitors. Winners spoke of gaining new customers, as prospectsâ curiosity got the best of them.
In a small market such as ours, where many businesses offer the same commodities, the award allowed winners the opportunity to stand out as the best of the best in what St Vincent and the Grenadines has to offer.
The win instantly imparted a level of trust and validation in prospects that would have taken years to acquire, which automatically increased sales. It reinforced customersâ loyalty and brought third party validation through the popular voice.
The award increased the credibility of the winning individuals, businesses and organizations, their products or services and brand and elevated them from a community name to being well known and accredited in their category.
The win for those companies and organizations also meant that it was a win for their employees. It boosted their morale, increased retention and attracted new talent to the various places.
Winners were given free media coverage from local media outlets that were proud to promote them and the chance of being entertained by investors was made so much better.
