Six new cases of Covid-19 recorded in SVG

St Vincent and the Grenadines recorded six new positive cases from 106 samples received and tested on April 3, 2021, resulting in a positivity rate of 5.7%. All of the 27 samples received and tested today April  4th were negative, a release from the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) said.

“One (1) new recovery was reported, bringing the number of total recoveries to sixteen hundred and twenty-five (1625). One hundred and twenty-nine (129) cases  are active and ten (10) persons with COVID-19 have died. One thousand, seven hundred and sixty-four (1764) cases of COVID-19 have been reported in St. Vincent  and the Grenadines since March 2020,” the release said.

The public is urged to continue to use masks, sanitize, physically distance and get  vaccinated to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
