The St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC) Division of Technical and Vocational Education (DTVE) has entered its fifth year of partnership with the East Caribbean Group of Companies (ECGC) Foundation in an effort to provide needy students with financial assistance.

This academic year 2020-2021, eight students from the DVTE make up the fifth group of scholarship recipients of the ECGC Foundation Bursary.

The scholarship scheme awarded each student with EC$1500 to cover registration and programme fee.

The awardees are Joemarley Daniel, Caslyn Williams, Gawaine Patterson, Trey McDonald, Randel Browne, Akeem Dennis, Enrique Lee and Ashanti Harry. They are all first year students pursuing Applied Associate Degree programmes in Agricultural Science and Entrepreneurship, Electrical Engineering Technology, Automotive Repairs Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology.

The SVGCC remains grateful to the ECGC Foundation for their continued partnership and investment in student development and vocational training.
