Chevening scholar qualifies in Human Rights Law

On December 16, 2020, Jeshua Bardoo, a Vincentian attorney-at-law attended his postgraduate graduation ceremony that was hosted by Brunel University London. However, in a twist, as with many graduations being held in 2020, it was a virtual event.

Bardoo graduated with an LLM International Human Rights Law, which for him is a dream come through, as he has always wanted to earn a master’s degree. These studies were funded by a prestigious Chevening Scholarship. Chevening Scholarships are funded by the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO) and partner organizations.

Bardoo, who is also passionate about youth advocacy, encourages all young people to never give up and to continue to press forward in spite of the challenges that they may face in this life from others. He wants them to know that they are capable of great things and they must never allow anyone to diminish their worth, downplay the things that they can accomplish, or the contributions that they can make in society because of who they are and where they come from.
