Dr Elizabeth King-Medford receives high praise from Apostolic Faith Mission

From the pen of Overseer CHRISTOPHER S. KING (SVG & St Lucia)

THE Apostolic Faith Mission St Vincent and the Grenadines and St Lucia join in offering congratulations to Dr Elizabeth King-Medford, Acting Pastor of the Paul Over Apostolic Faith Church, on her distinguished and prestigious achievement in receiving top honours of Summa Cum Laude, with a GPA of 4.0, in graduation on 17th June 2020 in Doctor of Divinity.

All praise and glory goes to God for his blessings on her life. It must be noted that in June 2018 she also graduated with her Masters in Theology with Summa Cum Laude honors and GPA of 4.0. It must be God ‘s faithfulness that has bought her through in shining colours. During her three years of study she lost her 31 year old daughter suddenly and her mom one year ago and God has proven Himself to be such a Faithful God in giving her the strength and wisdom to excel in her studies. No matter the situation Faith in God brings victory. She has been actively serving in the ministry for over twenty years, serving as a board member, and on many of the Mission’s committees, and is the personal secretary of the General Overseer Pastor Christopher King, her father a veteran in the faith with over 35 years as Overseer of mission in St Vincent and the Grenadines and St Lucia. She is the first female minister to receive a Marriage Officers License in this Mission and the first woman in St Vincent and the Grenadines to hold the prestigious Doctor Of Divinity degree. Dr Elizabeth King- Medford gives all the Glory and Praise to God. She would tell you that her mom, the late First Lady Cecelia King, was her biggest motivator and example. Her dad Overseer Christopher King, her devoted husband and children, along with Sr Margaret Nichols has been a great source of support during the very challenging but rewarding journey. God is a Faithful God and He stands true to His Holy Words.

Dr Elizabeth King-Medford is a Nurse by profession for the past 40 years and is presently the Senior Nursing Officer acting at the Mental Health Rehabilitation Centre. She is no stranger to the first position , having graduated Nursing school as Valedictorian of batch 12, She is the first and only ICU Certified Nurse in SVG, and the first caribbean Nurse outside of Jamaica to pass that course in 1987. She is the first Hemodialysis certified Nurse in St Vincent, also the first Nurse to head two rescue teams to Dominica in 2015 and 2017. She now serves as the Chairman of The General Nursing Council among other responsibilities We pray God’s Continued blessings on her life and encourage her to always abound in the work of the Lord for as much as she knows her labour will not be in vain in the Lord. To God we give all the Glory.
