Massy United Insurance Supports Vulnerable Families

Several families in need recently received support from Massy United Insurance with a donation of food hampers.

This donation forms one small part of the company’s regional community outreach initiative to support families impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Through this initiative, the company aims to assist vulnerable families across the region with supplies, especially with the onset of the hurricane season. These vulnerable families with children were identified by staff of the company’s local agents and civic-minded persons within their communities, a release from the company said.

“Massy United Insurance continues to be invested in improving lives in the communities where it operates and was pleased to reach out to the community in this way,” the release said.

The hampers were presented to the families by agents United Insurance Centre and United Agencies Ltd. at Massy Stores, Arnos Vale.

“We were very concerned about the impact which COVID-19 had on our communities and we really wanted to assist in a meaningful way. We are very happy to help ease the impact of the pandemic in some way here in St Vincent,” said Patricia DeFreitas, manager, United Agencies Limited, after the presentations.
