Medical supplies donated by Venezuela

Venezuela donates medical supplies to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to assist in the fight against Covid-19.

On Tuesday, April 14th, the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines made a donation to the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to assist this country in its fight against the new coronavirus (Covid-19).

Francisco Pérez Santana, Head of the Venezuelan Diplomatic Mission, delivered thirteen (13) boxes containing medical supplies such as surgical gloves, sterilized surgical gowns and non-sterile surgical overalls; to be used by Vincentian medical personnel in their fight against the coronavirus.

We bring a message of solidarity and brotherhood from the President of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro; everything we do for our brothers and sisters in the Caribbean we do from our heart, “said Francisco Pérez, who in turn stressed that all these donations are made despite the sanctions and attacks that the Venezuelan people are receiving at the moment from the government of the United States of America.

This donation was done within the framework of the relations of brotherhood and cooperation that unites both nations.
