Services of Kingstown District Clinic Relocated

The services normally offered at the Kingstown District Clinic have been temporarily relocated to five other districts until further notice.

A release from the ministry of health said that until further notice, the services of the Kingstown Clinic will be delivered at the Sion Hill, Calliaqua and Campden Park Clinics, and at the Stubbs and Buccament Polyclinics.

The Accident and Emergency Department of the MCMH was forced shut on Monday afternoon after a member of the public with flu-like symptoms showed up there seeking care.

“Out of an abundance of caution, emergency services have been temporarily relocated to the Kingstown District Clinic while the patient is assessed,” a release from the ministry of health said.

Additionally, visiting hours at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH) remain suspended temporarily.
