Woman shot in face


Investigators are treating as attempted murder, the shooting in the face and chest of a 67-year-old legal clerk of Cane Hall.

The woman was shot on the night of Friday, February 21 while she looked out her window after hearing strange sounds.

She was rushed to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH) where she is recovering.

The police say they do not know the identity of the shooter so they are therefore seeking the assistance of the public in obtaining any information that will lead to the apprehension and prosecution of the offender.
