Four men held after police seize guns, ammo and cocaine in joint operation

Four men are in police custody after a joint police operation over the weekend resulted in the seizure of three guns, a quantity of ammunition and three kilograms of cocaine.

On Sunday February 23, officers from the SVG Coast Guard Service, the Narcotics Unit and the Rapid Response Unit of the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) conducted a joint operation in the Prospect area.

During the operation, two Glock 17 pistols, one .357 Magnum revolver, 20 rounds of .223 ammunition, six rounds of .357 ammunition, 12 rounds of .9mm ammunition, two Glock 17 magazines and 3.014 kilograms of cocaine were seized.

A release from the police said four men are in police custody assisting with the investigations which are continuing.
