Police seeking the public’s assistance in shooting investigation

The police are seeking the public’s assistance as they investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting of a 44 year-old Sales Representative of Cane Grove, Buccament last Saturday February 1.

According to the police the victim was on her way home from work when she was approached by an unknown male assailant armed with a gun who robbed her of a quantity of cash and cheques and in the process shot her in the left side of her neck.

The victim was taken to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital where she was treated and discharged, and is reported to be in a stable condition.

Police said they are therefore seeking the assistance of anyone with information relating to the incident that can lead to the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrator.
