Trinity Medical School to dedicate building in honour of former Governor General

Next Monday, September 9, Trinity Medical Sciences University (TMSU) will announce its commitment of support to the World Pediatric Project (WPP).

The support will come through a sponsorship agreement that will provide essential funding and support resources for the WPP pediatric diagnosis and specialty surgery teams who fill such an essential role in advanced healthcare for the children of St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) and other Caribbean nations.

This sponsorship will ensure the continuity of these vital healthcare services by WPP and will also provide an enriching service experience for the medical students and faculty of TMSU.

Directly following this announcement, the university will host a ceremony of dedication of the TMSU Learning Centre building in honour and recognition of Sir Dr Frederick N Ballantyne for a lifetime of service in medicine, government, commerce, and education, as well as an acknowledgement of his encouragement and support of Trinity Medical Sciences University.

Both events will be convened at Trinity Medical Sciences University on Trinity College Road at Ratho Mill. The World Pediatric Project announcement is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am; with the building dedication at 9:30 am.
