National Council of Women congratulates the new GG

The National Council of Women has extended congratulations to the new Governor General on her appointment.

Susan Dougan, the first female to be appointed to this post in St Vincent and the Grenadines, was sworn in on August 1.

“We also esteem you highly and historically as the first female Governor General.

We wish you every success in your new duties, and take this opportunity to look forward in working closely and strengthening the support between our organization and your office. All the best as you represent,” a release from the National Council of Women said.
