Public not allowed on the ET Joshua compound from May 19

Members of the public will not be allowed on the compound of the decommissioned ET Joshua Airport from May 19.

This is to facilitate the hosting of Phase 2 of the Tradewinds Exercise, which will take place in St Vincent and the Grenadines from June 14 to June 21.

A release from the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) said that the compound will be utilised for the duration of that exercise.

As a result, the RSVGPF, in conjunction with the Tradewinds Secretariat, will take possession of the entire ET Joshua Airport compound from May 20 to June 30.

The compound of the decommissioned airport, including the parking lot, will be off limits to the public and owners of livestock who graze animals on the compound must also stop doing so from May 19.

Failure to comply will result in the animals being impounded.
