Sin is the Transgression of the Law

Sin is the Transgression of the Law

EDITOR: Yahweh give commandments to those who are willing to obey. Yahweh promised His Holy Spirit to those who obey His Words (Acts 5:32). Are you servants to Yahweh or to Satan the adversary? The question is asked “Do you know, that to whom you present yourselves as servants to obedience, his servants you are whom you obey; whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?” (Romans 6:16)

The truth must be taught at all times. Ministers of Christianity continue to teach false doctrines, claiming that the laws of Yahweh are done away with. Most of the denominations teach that Yahweh’s laws are nailed to the tree (‘cross’) when the Messiah died. They teach continually – “You no more living under laws, you are saved by grace only”.

How can you tell people that homosexuality, adultery, stealing, murder, etc. are wrong and at the same time, you try to abolish the Sabbath and Feast Days? You cannot be selective with Yahweh’s laws for your own benefits. Jacob 4: 17 tells us “To him therefore that knows to do good, and does it not, to him it is sin.”

Genesis 19 describes how Yahweh destroyed Sodom and Gomarrah because of their iniquities.

Yes, in giving the laws to Moses, Yahweh says in Leviticus 18:22 “You shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination.” Leviticus 20:13 says “And if a man lies with mankind, as with womankind, both of them have committed abomination: they shall surely be put to death.” See also Romans 1:26-27. Are these laws abolished? The answer is no, without a doubt.

We know that Yahweh created male and female in the beginning (Genesis 1:27). Why should man try to change this by having their own genders? Yahweh also said “You shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shall you mar the corners of your beards. You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks on yourselves. I am Yahweh”. (Leviticus 19:27,28). Leviticus 21: 3 also speaks against baldness of the head and cutting of the beards.

Nowhere in the New Testament can one find that Yahweh’s Sabbath and Feast Days are null and void after the death of the Messiah Yahshua. As a matter of fact, Paul speaking after the death of Yahshua, in Colossian 2: 16 informs us that they are a shadow of things to come. There are evidences in the New Testaments that Yahshua kept the Sabbath and Feast Days and taught his disciples how to do so. The apostles kept the Sabbath and Feast Days and continued to do so after His death. For example, Matthew 12: 10- 12; Mark 2:27,28; Luke 4:16; Acts 17:2; Acts 18:4,11; Hebrews 4:1-11; Matthew 26:2, 26-30, 1Corinthians 5:6-8; Acts 2; John 7:2, 37

Why should anyone ask a government to make sin legal? Yahweh gave us Yahshua, who is the sacrificial lamb. He can save us from our sin if we repent and be baptized in His name. Remember, “Everyone that commits sin also transgresses the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” (1John 3:4).
