Why are we not benefiting from wind powered electric generation systems

Editor: There are many countries in the Caribbean (need I list them?) that have already implemented wind farms or windmill generating electric power grids.{{more}}

Why, exactly, has this not been done similarly in St Vincent and the Grenadines? Our windward side experiences high winds pretty much constantly, day and night, day in and day out. Dozens of countries, European as well as Caribbean, not to mention dozens of states in the US, with a lot less constancy of high velocity winds, have instituted wind powered electric generation systems. What stops St Vincent and the Grenadines?

Paying Too Much
