What must we do to be saved? Part 1

Editor: This is a question that has been asked by anyone who wants to change to a spiritual way of life. Many religious leaders also seem to have an answer to this question. However, let us look at what the Bible says concerning this question.{{more}}

Acts 2:21 and Romans 10:13 tell us that “whoever shall call on the name of Yahweh shall be saved.” Yahweh is the name for the Almighty which is derived from the Tetragrammaton YHWH and not YWVH. The Hebrew letter that is pronounced V is sa. This does not appear in the Name of the Heavenly Father. Therefore, YHVH or Yud Ye Vau He which links with the term Jehovah is not the Tetragrammaton. Adding any other vowel points to the Tetragrammaton is definitely erroneous.

According to Weingreen (Oxford University Press, 1959), “long before the introduction of vowel – signs it was felt that the main vowel – sounds should be indicated in writing,” this article further stated that the three letters in the Hebrew that represents YHW “were used to represent long vowels…” (Pages7-8). Do you realize what you have just read? Here is a recognized scholar who agreed with Josephus and all of the Hebrew grammarians. Each one of the letters mentioned is used in the Heavenly Father’s Name. More verification to this fact can be found in the following sources: A Beginner’s Handbook to Biblical Hebrew, Marks and Rogers, Abingdon Press, 1958, p7 and How the Hebrew Language Grew, Horowitz, KTAV Publishing, 1960, pp333 – 334.

In Exodus 22: 20 we find: “He that sacrifices to any Elohim, except Yahweh only shall be utterly destroyed.” “I am Yahweh, that is my name, and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to carved images.” Isaiah 42:8.

Acts 4: 12 tells us, “And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven that is given among men, in which we must be saved.” Matthew 1:21states, “And He shall bring forth a son; and you shall called his name Yahshua; for He shall save his people from their sins.” Shall we compromise Matthew 1:21? If you have a savior whose name does not mean salvation, it cannot save you from your sins.

Does the name Jesus means salvation? The answer is no. Firstly, the Messiah was of Hebrew origin and Jesus is of Greek origin. The apostle Paul tells us in Acts 26:14 “—- I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew language Saul, Saul why do you persecute me?” Secondly, there was no letter J in the Hebrew Alphabet. The letter J was introduced into the English Language in 1565 by a French Writer. What was the Messiah’s name before 1565?

Acts 2: 38 instructs us to repent and be baptized for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the Holy Spirit.

We were all thought that the almighty’s name is The Lord. The fact is that the word Lord means Baal. In Hosea 2:16 Yahweh said “And it shall be at that day, says Yahweh, that you shall call me Ishi, and shall call me no more Baali, —-” Yahweh is saying not to call Him Baal or Lord.

The following is a quote from the Holy Bible – The New King James with Dictionary Concordance in describing the meaning of Yahweh “… According to Jewish customs, because of reverence the divine name was not to be spoken, so the Hebrew words for LORD and GOD were substituted. Whenever the words LORD and GOD appear in large and small capital letters, the original Hebrew reads YHWH.”

Can you imagine that you are worshipping a substituted mighty one?
