Discontented with KFC

Fri Jul 12, 2013

Editor: I would like to air my dissatisfaction on the limited and unhygienic services provided by KFC during the Carnival season.

I went into KFC over the Carnival weekend and purchased a meal as a dine-in customer. Once I finished my meal, I then proceeded to use the WC facilities. To my dismay, when I arrived at the entrance to the toilets, I found that they had been boarded up.{{more}}

Can Mr Boyea please enlighten me as to how he expects to provide services to customers meeting food and hygiene standards without the provision of this facility? Why must I, a paying customer, be penalized because Mr Boyea didn’t want non-consumers to use his facility? Mr Boyea makes enough money from Vincentians to either provide security at his toilet doors or to allow free toilet usage to all during the festivities.

This is not the first time this has happened either and I’m quite appalled that he is allowed to continue this trend. It is time that people stop treating Vincentians with disregard and stop treating us like we are uneducated. Mr Boyea should desist from committing such an inconsiderate act in the future or provide a teller at his toilets to ensure that non-consumers pay a charge to use his facilities; that way his paying customers are not unfairly treated.
