Sodomite legislation and freedoms in civil society

Tue May 28, 2013

Editor: The world over, governments are passing laws to permit same-sex marriages and other unions and to allow them legal opportunity to engage in activities such as adoption. Where this happens there are human rights and freedoms violations, especially of Christians who oppose the sodomite perverted behaviour, according to the Bible. Truth is, whenever a government claims to give rights and freedoms to sodomites, they are in fact taking away our/your rights and freedoms.{{more}}

Sodomite Legislation Attacking Religious Liberty

In an article dated January 12, 2012 and published by Deseret News online, we learn “Boy, 15, reprimanded for backing traditional family in School Paper”. An excerpt from the article reveals “…in Shawano, Wisconsin, 15-year-old Brandon Wegner was reportedly punished for sharing this opinion: Homosexual couples shouldn’t be able to adopt. Wegner wrote an op-ed piece for the school’s newspaper explaining the biblical view of homosexuality and supporting natural mother-father adoption…Fox News reported the school received a complaint from a gay couple whose child attends the high school. The school issued an apology saying Wegner’s opinion was a “form of bullying and disrespect…”

A May, 2010 edition of the Telegraph UK online paper reported “Christian preacher arrested for saying homosexuality is a sin”. It explained, “A Christian street preacher was arrested and locked in a cell for telling a passer-by that homosexuality is a sin in the eyes of God. Dale McAlpine was charged with causing “harassment, alarm or distress” after a homosexual police community support officer (PCSO) overheard him reciting a number of “sins” referred to in the Bible, including blasphemy, drunkenness and same sex relationships.

In the Daily Mail UK online paper of January 2011, we read “‘Now some people are more equal than others’: Despair of Christian hotel owners penalized for turning away gays”. In that story we learn “Two Christian hotel owners punished for refusing a bed to a gay couple claimed yesterday that their religion is being suppressed. Peter and Hazelmary Bull said Christianity had been pushed to the margins of society, and added: “Some people are more equal than others.”

They spoke out after a landmark court decision awarded £1,800 each to civil partners Martyn Hall and Steven Preddy, who were denied a double room under the Bulls’ policy of allowing only married couples to share a bed in the hotel that is also their home.”

And in the state of Vermont, in July, 2012, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACL) sued a family friendly inn for refusing to allow a lesbian couple to host their wedding reception at the inn. The cnsnews.com news story reported “The American Civil Liberties Union is suing a small, family-owned Vermont inn for allegedly refusing to host a lesbian couple’s wedding reception. The Wildflower Inn is owned by a “devout, practicing Catholic family who believes in the sanctity of marriage between one man and one woman,” its Facebook page says. The ACLU says the Vermont Human Rights Law prohibits public accommodation – hotels and small inns included – from discriminating on the basis of sexual orientation”.

No “Right” to be Sodomite

Legislators’ concepts of rights and freedoms need to be right. Rights and freedoms are natural, God-given abilities with which ALL human beings are born, including babies and children. They are equal under law and are the same for every individual. These characteristics prove that by nature, there is a difference between rights and freedoms and what is human behaviour by choice. For example, you have freedom of movement and so you may move your hand. However, if you move your hand to slap someone, you cannot argue that you have a “freedom to slap” the person. Such could constitute a crime in law. In short, the behaviour you choose to perform or do with your ability to move is not the same as your freedom of movement. Similarly, homosexuals or sodomites have freedom of movement as a natural ability. However, when they choose to move their bodies to bugger each other, for example, that action cannot be described as a freedom or a right. There is no right to be a sodomite or a right to bugger. Or else, even a one-day-old baby should be said to have such “right”, since rights are endowed to ALL persons at birth. There is just absolutely nothing such as a right of a newborn to bugger, to put it plain.

What governments do when they legislate sodomy does not constitute giving the sodomite the right to sodomize, since sodomites do this already in privacy (home etc). What the government is in fact doing is telling society that they must recognize the behaviour, accept it and respect it, even though it is against your conscience. Such a law is a PROVINITY (provided opportunity), not a right and not a freedom. Such a law cannot create a “right” since rights and freedoms are about equality under law. All persons have them. Yet, sodomite laws have proven to create so called “rights” for a special group, while at the same time they violate the natural rights and freedoms of Christians and others who oppose this deviant sexual behaviour. It is not within the nature of rights and freedoms to contradict each other, nor to harm society by legalizing dangerous, health destroying and immoral practices.
